MICHAEL GOHMAN

PRESIDENT

Michael’s responsibilities include the day-to-day administration of W. Gohman Construction Co. He coordinates the scheduling of equipment, field employee placement and training, performs estimating, project management and marketing functions.

Michael has grown up in the business learning it from his dad, Bruce. He has worked in all areas of the firm. In 2006, after spending many years in the field and office, Michael became president of the company. Michael has been involved in numerous projects such as, Hospitals, Clinics, K-12 schools, post-secondary schools, Industrial facilities, Sport facilities, Office buildings, Multi-family housing, Residential single family homes, Military facilities, and much more!

DENIS ANDERSON

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Denis joined the W. Gohman Construction Co. in 1978 as part-time estimator/draftsman. Denis has worked closely with Owners representatives, the site superintendents, as well as owners, architects, engineers and trade contractors involved in his projects to ensure that scheduling and budget requirements are adhere too.

Denis has worked on numerous projects such as, Educational facilities, Libraries, Laboratory facilities, Hospitals, Clinics, Water treatment facilities, Law enforcement facilities, Fire stations, Banks, College resident dormitories, Parking ramps, and much more!

Company Responsibilities

Denis’s responsibilities include oversight of all project management, including budgets,schedules, cost control, quality assurance, safety, close-out and warranties. He is responsible for pre-construction and construction phase administration. He will provide evaluation of the design programs, project budget and schedule requirements.

MARK WOLVERT

PROJECT MANAGER

Mark was hired in 2000 as an estimator. He worked in the field for a year to become familiar with the building components then came back into the office and has been doing estimating for various projects. Projects he has completed are the St. Cloud YMCA, SCSU Parking Ramp & Public Safety Center, Alexandria Area High School, VA Hospital Dental Renovations project and VA Medical Center.

Company Responsibilities

Mark will act as the Estimator/Project Manager. He will be responsible for pre-construction and construction phase administration. He will be responsible for the staffing that will report directly to him. Provide evaluation of the Owner’s program, project budget and schedule requirements. Develop a Construction Management plan including cost and time parameters, means and methods, and a complete management information system. Provide value engineering and constructibility reviews with emphasis on civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Assist in receiving and evaluating bids, identify and recommend procurement of long lead items, assist in the awarding of contracts, obtain all necessary agency approvals, establish and maintain a project financial status reporting system.

JIM ENGELMEYER

SUPERINTENDENT

Jim started his career with W. Gohman Construction Co. in 1988 as a carpenter and has worked his way up to project superintendent by assisting other supervisors. Because of his learning abilities and attention to details, Jim has become one of W. Gohman Construction Co.’s premier project superintendents. Jim has worked on numerous projects that require a great deal of skill and management knowledge such as church facilities, football stadiums, educational, banks, medical, and city park splash pads.

Responsibilities

Jim is responsible for implementing site mobilization and review of constructibility issues and construction means and methods during preconstruction. During construction, provide full-time, on-site project supervision and in charge of trade contractor coordination, safety, general conditions, quality control, labor relations, monitoring testing, preinstallation meetings and mock-ups.
