Project Overview
Built in 1938 under President Roosevelt’s New Deal Works Progress Administration (WPA), the Ramsey Park Swayback Bridge in Redwood Falls, Minnesota has withstood the test of time. But in 2010 after suffering extensive flood and ice damage it was time for a restoration using local and on-site materials, the historic stone structure was completed in September 2013.

The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and also listed in the National Bridge Inventory. The 183-foot ten-span structure is constructed of concrete and North Redwood granite, quarried by hand from the William Hosken quarry, north of North Redwood Falls.

West River Parkway

Project Overview
The meticulous restoration of the West River Parkway WPA-era wall involved the painstaking repair of the historic stone wall and its intricate assemblies along the majestic Mississippi River. The restoration process included carefully removing damaged stone beyond repair and the delicate dismantling of salvaged stone for reinstallation. Approved stone, meticulously shaped, tooled, and imbued with the appropriate color, texture, and veining, was then installed.

Notably, this remarkable wall is honored on The National Register of Historic Places of Minnesota.

Historic Browerville Bridge

Project Overview
The National Registered Historic Bridge underwent a comprehensive study, during which its existing state was meticulously documented and photographed. To address the deteriorated materials, they were carefully deconstructed using small hand tools and replaced. Any missing stones were substituted with original and recaptured stones sourced from local quarries and then meticulously restored to their original state.
